The Mechatronics series was developed through the integration of precision machining technology and electronics. Precision positioning tables incorporate a linear motion rolling guide and ball screw or motor between the bed and slide table. A wide range of products are available in either the module type or high-precision type. They play an important role in a variety of industries that require equipment with positioning mechanisms such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment, flat panel display manufacturing equipment, and other precision equipment needs. Having the positioning table and electrical control components in one helps reduce design and assembly processes.

Maintenance Free
Maintenance free options that incorporate our industry leading C-Lube lubrication system integrated into the package, this provides up to 20,000km of continuous maintenance free operation. The lubrication oil is supplied directly to the rolling elements, not to the track rail. When the rolling elements make contact with the capillary lubricating element, which is integrated into the circulation path, the oil is transferred to the surfaces and carried to the loading area.
WHY CHOOSE IKO?
Our TE…B range, utilises ‘High Strength’ aluminium alloy is used for the main components. Slide table and linear motion rolling guides integrated in a single structure to ensure a low profile and compact design. Sensors attached directly into the mounting groove.
Our Ultra Small TM range has a sectional height of 20mm and width of just 17mm. The Micro Linear way with a track width of just 2mm is adopted in the table guiding parts, and a miniature ground ball screw with a diameter of 2mm is used in the feeding mechanism. Again positioning sensors are incorporated into the table bed.
Then our ultimate low profile NT38V tables are the epitome of a low-profile solution. These Linear Motor tables with moving coils have an impressive sectional height of just 11mm, with a width of 38mm and entire length of just 68mm. These tiny tables provide an impressive positional repeatability figure of just +/- 0.5um, resolution as little as +/- 0.1um and maximum speeds of 500mm/s
02. HIGHER ACCURACY & SPEED
Our Super Precision Positioning table TX…m, CTX…M guarantee super high positional accuracy with their built in fully closed loop linear encoders covering the whole stroke length of the units. This range also integrates the IKO C-Lube system in of MX Crossed roller type Linear Ways offering excellent stability and anti-vibration characteristics.
Our NT…H utilises a combination of parts processed with high accuracy and Anti-Creep Crossed roller Ways to realise attitude accuracy of 5sec or less. Variations in attitude due to movement is minimised, which ensures high positioning repeatability.
Our LT… range offers a combination of high-accuracy with high-speed functionality. These moving magnet table and magnetic coil tables can achieve speeds of 3000mm/s. Linear Motor Table LT is a direct drive positioning table featuring a low sectional height and light weight. An AC linear servo motor and an optical linear scale are compactly integrated in the moving table and bed made of an aluminum alloy. Three types are offered: Compact Series LT・・・CE, Long Stroke Series LT・・・LD, and High Thrust Series LT・・・H, which allows customers to select the best fit for an application. Linear Motor Table LT is most suitable for applications requiring high speed operation such as semi-conductor and liquid crystal related equipment, measuring instruments, assembly systems, material transfer equipment.
03. WIDE VARIETY OF OPTIONS
At IKO we can offer a wide variety of options across our mechatronics range. Some of the most common include.
• The shape of the slide table. Block type and Flange type which are available in short, standard and long variants.
• Two slide tables can be mounted on the track rail depending on the applied load and the moment.
• Rolled or ground ball screws can be selected to achieve the required accuracy. With ball screw lead also selectable per requirement.
• Fold back motor specification to enable use in shortened operating envelopes.
• Covers and bellows available to stop contaminates from falling onto the table and guides.
• Black Chrome surface treatments can be applied to the surface of the slide table and ball screw to improve corrosion resistance.
04. CLEAN ROOM
When looking for clean room applications we offer positioning tables specifically designed to meet the stringent requirements of cleanroom Class 3 environments. Made with stainless-steel and its inherent corrosion resistance and minimises particle generation.
Side covers enclose the drive components and slide table guides, preventing dust ingress. A stainless-steel sheet is pressed onto the side cover by a resin roller within the slide table construction. This innovative design ensures a tight seal, further preventing dust from entering the critical internal space. The surrounding area of the table maintains negative air pressure, creating a controlled environment within the sealed internal space.

05. MAINTENANCE FREE
Available across a wide selection of our Mechatronics range. The maintenance free C-Lube system helps to improve life and reduce unwanted waste. In linear guides, the C-Lube system is integrated into the slide unit and supplies the lubricating oil to the surfaces of its rolling elements without contacting the track rail. This built-in lubrication system can run maintenance-free for five years or 12,500 miles and beyond, providing improved performance, lower operating costs and reduced downtime.

• Extends the re-lubrication interval from several months to several years.
• Can be integrated into bearings as small as 3 millimeters wide.
• C-Lube does not increase the slide unit’s length.
